"Starship, do you think going from 2" to 2 1/2 exhaust will make a difference in performance for me.
I have stock 2" pipes and mufflers hooked up to Hooker Comp Headers.
Owner before me burnt his leg on the side pipes a couple of time so he ripped them off and went stock."

Yes, better breathin'. Try exhalin' through a straw, feel the restriction?
Same concept.
The 2" pipe kinda defeats the purpose of havin' the Hookers. [&o]

GM would not sell us a black for a few years, something with black showing the imperfections at the bonding seams, I'll see if I can find where I have that info, PG.

Yup, Some years they didn't offer black but would deliver a car in primer. My '73 was one of these cars as the original color is black. but some clown, maybe Bubba, musta put some yellow paint in his mouth and spit it out on the car, kinda like wild Bill in "the green mile" with the moonpie. What some people do........
also one(?) year you could get one with out the engine. there is also rumors of certain cars leaving the factory in black even though it was not an officialy offered color. I suppose money talks in that situation. Cheers

theres a small steel id plate on the drivers door pillarby where the hinges are. that plate will give you codes that will tell you the factory interior and exterior colors.
