I am taking the body mount bolts out and everyone I took out took the mount with it, thats how bad it is rotted. a couple i snapped the bolt. how am I going to get the body off of the frame now? can anyone help?

If the bolts snapped there will be nothing holding the body on so it should just come off. I couldn't get my two rear bolts off so I got a wiz wheel and just cut the heads off and drove the bolts up.

awesome, so it shouldnt hang up on the fiberglass? if it does do you suggest to cut the fiberglass around the bolt and patch it up later? and after the body mounts are out what else would I have to do to lift the body? I have the noland adams video comming but i guess im in suspense. This is my first ever project if you cant tell haha! thanks all!

If at all possible, DON'T cut the fiberglass.

I was able to get all mine out by heating the 'nut' first and then gently use the impact wrench back and forth, you should not have to cut any fiberglass to get to the bolts or mounts.

Nut crakers work well in some places. Lots of penetrating oil, left over night, and yes, heat will expand the nut and help break it loose.

Heat...Just remember fiberglass is VERY flammable.

Actually it's just the resin that burns but I know what you mean. And even if it doesn't catch on fire, it'll sure melt. I saw a burned out hulk and just seeing a bunch of glass strands all over looked strange. Sad too.
