alright, alright , i meant the lift........once you get over 500 you start to lose serious vaccum.....and vettes need lots of vac......

O.k.,......got cha now.
Sacrifices must be made. Vacuum is the least of my worries, how about the fuel mileage, or lack there of! I plan on goin with rectangular head light assemblies, no more doors.

Did a search with key word "454" Got a lot of post with great info. I did it before I started this post but there wasn't as much then. perhaps the knowlageable folks here are tired of answering the same old questions. I guess I don't blame them. Cheers

I checked out the the tranny today and I think it is an M22 "Bonecrusher". ....Cool

Huh? What? Someone say my name? I've been busy shopping for Backyardigans and Dora garbage that will never see the light of day after new years. Been sniffing glue fumes in the garage trying to finish up my new dash and glovebox covers. [:-]

I do believe that is "ROCKCRUSHER", but the result is the same and that tranny kicks butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really is indestructable.... I had one in a 65 GTO with a Borg&Beck 3 finger clutch, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!![sm=happy046.gif]
