C-3 Power assist Brakes, More vacuum Better?
I have often wondered if more vacuum volume for brakes is better, I have seen very little or no testing on this (maybe I need to dig deeper). I have tried adding a 30 oz. reservoir and it does act like it works better (more responsive) with the extra volume, but if you pump the brakes it goes away fast and takes a little longer to restore. So I'm thinking with lower vacuum camshafts if hydraboost is the best way to go? Anytime you drive throttle brake throttle brake does not make vacuum boosters practical. Street driving is ok they say if you have at least 7in vacuum. I have 15in with the cam I have It's ok but does not make the brakes over responsive. Something to think about.
