Sorry to hear of your loss. [&o]
I was about to lose a '70 SS 454 "Heavy Chevy" Chevelle to the ex. I sold it for what I owed, and she didn't get squat!
Ya, I lost the car, but she didn't win either.

Sounds like you need to talk to my two Attorneys....Smith and Wesson. Or perhaps Mr. Weatherby and Mr. Leupold, The latter are specialists and licensed in every state and very good at long distance cases and very discrete. Their operating costs are a little higher than Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson, but well worth the extra cost.

Or... I know it's hard, ...but ....you can put it behind you and by a new and better vette and rub that in her face. Keep your chin up. Cheers

PS: My first wife left me, literally, for a "crack head". She threw the ring at me when she left. That was in '99. Last year I traded the ring for a beautiful '87 Coupe. "What a country". I was told I should have gotten a picture of the exchange, ring for keys, with the vette in the back ground and sent the picture to her with a thank you note. That would have been priceless.

I can sympathize with you NATS. I gave my ex everything, house, vehicles, property up north, snowmobiles, etc.., just to walk away with my clothes, motorcycle and corvette. It was worth every red cent of it too!! It really doesn't take long to get back on your feet so put it behind you and start looking for that new vette to start new memories with! Good Luck!

I got alll my "toys" after. My son is just about done with college and been "dating the same lady for 15 years. You guys need to learn how to plan ahead. Listing car titles as "or instead of and." Also having trusted friends you can "sell" things to at near nothing to hang on to until the mess is over.

I live in New Jersey and this is the worst state to get a divorce in. The judge always sides with the wife.
But I will tell you this, they are real tough on child support. My X dumped my 2 kids on me and thought she wouldn't have to pay support. The judge made her pay me as long as the kids lived with me up to age 23 or 18 if they don't attend college. Now it's all in the past and I know I did the right thing by getting out of a F----D UP mariage when I did.
Good Luck!

Ya, they're pretty tough here in Tennessee on child support, whichI suppose is good for the kids.My first wife and her leach of an attorney even tried to collect from me for my step kids. And the court entertained the thought. I told her she could leave the kids with me like they wanted and I would gladly raise them as my own. but I would rot in jail for murder beforeI paid her a bloody dime. I love the kids and they still call me more than they do her. makes me feel good. Although I 'mworried now as my 18 year old "Daughter" is going to Iraq for a year as a Medic. She leaves next month. that means a whole year of nail bitting for me. Cheers

That's horrible. Here in Montna, we don't divorce 'em... we take 'em hunting. Getting her to wear the antler hat is the hard part. You'll get another Vette... its in your blood.
Good luck

Sorry to here about your loss. Going through the same thing here. The kid is grown up, sort of, so no child support but in B.C. Canada if the wife makes less than you in wages she gets part of your wages till it evens out. I lost 25% of my wages and half of my pension, but she didn't get the vette or my pick up or tools. Life sucks sometimes but it does go on and I will get the vette on the road next year , just so I can drive past her and smile and wave. Oh ya had to sell the house too, so the vette and engines and all her parts are tarped up on my flatdeck trailer sitting in my parents yard. Never say die!!! Good luck my friend.
