Can anyone help me with a schematic of the vacuum controls for a 77 with air?

Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I think pg can as I believe he has a '77 and has put up vacuum hose diagrams for headlites in the past.

77Vette,
I am not sure how to post a picture but here is the diagram you are looking for;
go to www.zip-products.com, select your year and search for vacuum hose. You are looking for Product Number:ZAH-304 and at the bottom of the page is an installation diagram.

I just re did mine on my 79 and I had to pull the center council, golve box and the vent ducting. Only took about 4 hours. discovered that the "black" line was not connected to the headlights. If you look at the diagram that PG sent, you add a T right before the head light line goes to the manifold. If you select this part number Product Number:ZHDL-218, you will see the "T" i am talking about.

Good luck

By the way, I am finally back from gaurding the oil platforms in Iraq. Gotta love the states.

No problem at all, I have been in for a little over 21 years and plan on retireing in about 4 years. I think we must have done something because when I left in August gas was over 4 dollars a gallon and now it is less that 2. I am home for a couple of months and have to go out and meet my new ship in March and but she is finishing up her deployment soon so I won't be gone long.
