Hey Jay,

It sounds like it needs a lot. I would start at 2500 and try to stay under3500. I bought a 79 L82 with 90K on it. It runs real strong the interior was replaced and in new shape nice sound system, paint isgood and had new tires, all it really needed was a tune up and cleaning and I got it for 5g.

Good Luck

I paid $2000 for my '78 L-48, auto, A/C, cruise, tilt/tel., power windows, factory aluminum wheels, 72000 miles, the only thing I had to do to make it street worthy was replace the brakes, that was three years ago and about $6000 into resto parts.

Yeah that was what i fig. I'm getting the car handed down to me from my mom. She wants me to redo the car (I'm a auto body man/painter) And pretty much it will be mine when i'm done with it.. Just was wondering what it might be worth. I was thinking like 3000. So I was pretty close.
Thanks all Jay
