Hood Interchange
Anyone know if the early C3 hoods will fit the later C3s ('80 L82)? My new engine (454) and intake (Edlebrock) will not let the hood close. I think I'm lacking about two inches. Wondering if the '68 L-88 hood will work, or?
I'd appreciate any pointers!

Check all of the standard places:

I went with Eckler's "stinger hood", but ACI's L88 hood gives you 2.25" to play with.
The stinger gives you 3 7/8" from the hood drain rails up.

ORIGINAL: C3 Starship
Hey Russ,
Thanks Dude, I'm going to go with the L-88 hood. Looks meaner and I will have a good place, on the side, to put the 454 numbers.
