Default Insurance for C3's

How many of you have "regular" insurance on your C3 vs. collecter car insurance?

I have a 5000 mile limit annually, an agreed value of 23K in case of loss and I have full coverage, for about 135.00 a year. All my other (newer) cars are almost 10 times that much for a years coverage.

Hi DeeVeeEight, just got my insurance bill $275.99 due on the 20th for a 6 month policy. The Vette is listed as my second car. In Feb 2003 I got an appraisal for $ 15,500. State Farm wrote on the policy 2nd car "Estimated value $15,500 or less", it's regular insurance. I'm not sure about the "or less" part but I guess that I'd get someware between book value, less than $5,000 and the $15,000.
Just hope I don't have to find out. PG.

Try American Collector's Insurance (near me in Cherry Hill, NJ) great coverage for the money, but you have to have at least 10 years driving experience to get it.

I guess it might be the state you live in too; I live in MA and I use J.C. Taylor for their classic car policy. I have my 73 vert valued at 25K and it cost me $178. a year for regular insurance (no limit on driving). You can call them at 800=345-8290. Good luck.

I don't pay "jack" on mine as a second car. Have USAA 27 years. Something like $150 for 6 months full coverage at around $1000 deductable.

Thats the price ya pay when you keep your nose clean.

I may have to check on some of your insurance companies. I pay almost $500.00 per year for an agreed 60K value with unlimited towing miles.

So if it's totaled or stolen, do you get NADA value?
