Default Just a little update...

Well, I haven't been completely idle. Been workin' on the wiring. Bubba used some extention cord to wire up several things. For the last couple of weeks I've been goin' through stuff just gettin' it figured out.
Sheesh....what a mess. []

Glad to hear you are making some progress. Are you taking pictures as you go along? Kinda like before and after "Bubba".

I didn't think anyone would want to see a pile of scrap wire, but when I get to the mechanical stuff I'll be postin' up a few pics.

Sounds like Bubba was a real "home-spun" type fella' , I mean using extension cord and all. Also sounds like Bubba needed/needs a good ole' "home-spun ***-whoopin' " LOL After the whole bunch of us (the entire forum of C3 owners) tie his hands behind his back w/ the extension cord. LOL That damn cord has to come into play somewhere besides just being the reason for the whoopin' . Or maybe tie him to the frame of your 'Vette and drag him, using the extension cord, like the Pharows(Sp?) wanted to do to that kid who leaned on their car; in "American Graffiti." LOL Maybe Bubba was "well read" and needed a reading lamp to read his Corvette manual, butfor sure nevergot as far asthe "Frame/Body Electrical" section. Quite possibly read the "Lamps/Lighting" section -IN THE ORTHO HOME IMPROVEMENT ENCYCLOPEDIA SOB!!!!!!!. But Really, what in the HELL are people thinking of, doing things like that, and in a 'Vette no less. What in the HELL was that guy doing with a 'Vette? Or working on any vehicle for that matter?
Only one more question; What's Bubba's address?????????????????????????????????????

I am glad to hear that you're getting after the work on your 'Vette. I always find work well done very rewarding, as I'm sure you do. Good luck w/ the work.

I have his address, but we should leave him with his misery. I kinda feel sorry for dumb animals.
It's not just the wiring, there are some real scary mech stuff he messed with too.

'Oh, this bolt is only 3' too long, I'll just stack about 15 washers on it and it will fit just fine, and let's use some washers behind the wheels so they will clear the calipers.'

.....and the list goes on, and on, and on, and......

It's amazing how bad someone can screw up a great machine like a C3.
Every old car I have owned had some kind of screw up or another.
For example the 74 I am driving now has hooker competition headers choking down to 2" stock exhaust, what was he thinking?
