Well, a couple weekends ago I replaced the Air Conditioning Control Face Plate on my 78 console. Looks great but now I only have air deflecting to the floor. No vent or defroster air. I think I don't have the Control Vaccuum Advance on properly. Can anyone provide or direct me to a 3-d picture of this assy. Thx.

 

Do you have an A.I.M. the pictures are in there, and there is some info in the service manual under Heater and air conditioning 1A. PG>

 

got a clymer and haynes but no aim. no pics of this assy. i think i don't have the control arms placed over the stud on the lever correctly.

 

okay problem solved. it was an assy error. but i don't see any bulb under this assy. doesn't seem to be one there. no biggie. next. i have a new interior set coming soon. also thinking about pulling the center console and get the clock switched over to quartz and a new radio. i'd probably stick to a corevette type radio. new or maybe used. anyone selling a good used 78 radio? thx.
