Question New forum software

Has anyone figured out how to use a custom avatar yet? I noticed that C3 was only one I saw w/ one but can't figure out how to PM him.

We just switched to a similar version over on the Chevrolet forum but some of the features here are not the same.

Also noticed that the photo gallery departed along w/ PM history.

I tried to "unselect" the do not use avitar choice, in the user control panel. It would not let me. I'm sure it can be fixed by who ever has the magic wand this week.

I smell progress!! Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I'm slowly figuring things out, mostly by trial and error or total accident. LOL
I'll try to look into the issues you have brought up and get back to y'all in this thread.

I cliked on your name on your post. A small blank screen comes up with your name at the top of the little screen. I clicked in the blank area and
"Send a private message" page came up.
This is one of those Trial and Error things that seemed to work.
Hope ya got the PM, if not let me know and I''ll try something else.
As far as the avatars, I'll have to look into it again.
Another T&E adventure. LOL

Hey Flying Low,
I found that your profile photo is there, and you have at least one pic in your gallery.
No avatar was found. Ya might try it again. If no luck, let me know and I'll try to figure it out for ya.

Flying Low, try this.
Go to "Use Custom avatar". I just put mine up on the Chevrolet Forum just to re-figure out how I did it. It's right below "do not use avitar", next section down.
Let me know if it works for ya. Oh wait, I'll know by seeing your avatar show with your post. Duh...me....me!

I know you'll get it sussed, brother.

This is all that comes up under "edit avitar" and it won't let me change the "do not use avitar" button. oh well. I don't even have an option for "CUSTOM Avitar" unless I'm missing something.

Edit Avatar
Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
