73- thanks for your input. I'm no expert and have gotten confused between all these bushings- trailing arms, differential mtg kits.i've ordered the diff mtg kit, and if its determined i need morebushings as displayed in ecklers web pages, i may order from them to keep it simple. any issues with using both rubber and poly for bushings?

 

Hey dar322, what year is your Vette, the differential mounting changed for the 1980 model and requires different bushings than the previous years. You might not be comparing apples to apples- just a thought.

 

mine is a 78. i've ordered the diff mtg bushing kit.that seems to be it for now.
