What to use for a rear leaf spring on an 82? Metal or plastic. Has plastic now.

Welcome to the forum.

Better stick w/ the plastic monoleaf. Otherwise you'd have to change out the rearend to put a leaf spring on.

The mono-leaf is lighter and don't rust and get squeeky.
I have mono's front and rear and Love 'em.
