I am in process of installing a renegade intake on my 82 collectors edition and found the hole for temp sensor is smaller on new intake has anybody come across this situation and if so does anyone have a remedy thanks

 

apparently they had a few that were produced with wrong size hole and I received one of the few. does anybody have any experience with the renegade intake manifold?

They have been making the Renegade for quite awhile now - assuming you purchased it new you should give them a call. If you purchased it used, you might want to make sure that it was designed for the `82 Corvette since they may have a slightly different design for the `84 Corvette or the 302 application for the Camaro/Firebirds of the time, though just speculating since it would be odd that they cast/drilled the wrong sized hole.
