She may not be a virgin
Started pulling the drivers side exhaust manifold (leak at center section) got the two center bolts out and it looks like I may not be her first. First bolt had a 1/8" thick washer, what I would have expected. the second had a larger diameter 1/16" sheetmetal washer[
]. Looks like Bubba may have violated her before I knew her.
Weather got bad, I will have to finish tomorrow. On the bright side 2 out of 2 didnt break.

I have lots of receipt where P.O. would buy his own parts then receipts where he paid to have parts installed. This work looks a lot older than his owning the car. part if the threads are actually burned/rusted away.

It's bad when you do some half-assed fixing on you car, you need a good WHOOPIN'. But when you pay someone to do some half-assed fixing on your car, you both need a WHOOPIN', you for bringing it to the jerk, and him for doing the half-assed work.
Either do it right, or research and bring it to a reputable shop.

Friday update: Off on Friday=work on vette.
Back together with all new hardware, Cruised a couple of hours friday night...life is good.
