Nice looking Vet.
Can you let me know what you think of the Side Pipes
Like sound and ease of getting in and out of the car with out getting burned.
Thanks,
Schoon

thanx starship!
Schoon thank you to! as far as the pipes I FREAKIN LOVE THEM! rowin through the gears hearing them blast is sweet music to my ears!! as far as getting burned that is why i opted for the ceramic coated ones!! the first time i took it out for about a 10 mile drive i got out and was diggin some stuff out of the back storage area and realized my shin was getting warm (in shorts) jumped back as i realized it was against the pipe and NO burn if it had been chrome or ss i would have left about 3 layers of skin on the pipe for sure!!!
I like them so much i cant get myself to tear them back off to put my rocker covers back on!!!LOL
I need to fix a couple of the screw inserts acctually and havent got around to it!!
My wife has figured out a good way to get in and out without touchin the pipes she just swivels in the seat so both legs are out and away from the pipes and uses her arms to push herself up and out.

Great Vette.

Shoon, if you want to make your car louder when you want it to be but quiet when you want it to be as well, look at electric cutouts. I'm getting a set installed on my 76 within the next couple weeks hopefully. Truly releases a deeper sound and is VERY loud, if that's what you're after. Take a look at this video of a Chrysler 300c with them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJQze6jyilc

There's no way you'll be able to drive by unnoticed! [8D]

With those thin tires, I'll bet it rides like a truck and you'd only get about two smoky burnouts. []

Sounds good tho. Is the 300 a true dual exhaust?

Where do the cutouts go?
Are they under your seat?

What is the total cost for the cutouts and installation.

Thanks,
Schoon

The cutouts are welded directly to your headers or manifolds. You can have them installed at a local shop. I'll definitely post a video and impressions as soon as I get mine done. I'm ordering them tomorrow.

Are you getting the ones like in the video with the butterfly type valve or the kind that has a slide gate?
