Sunday ride
We took advantage of some unusually cool weather this weekend. We drove for about six hours today.
Ended up at Lake Martin for a few pics.
Sure was peacefull!
We found a friend to go with us.

I get wore out after 3 hours in my 'Vette, too noisy and too cramped.
Too bad no one else responded to your post.
Come to ********.com ! ! !
That's where I am most of the time. A real nice crowd and knowledgeable too.

The temps here in central Texas have been in the hundreds since the middle of June. I'm just worn out from it and when I come in at night after a day of the heat, I don't even want to go to the store. Yesterday was in the mid 90s, and a great break.
Glad that you had some good 'Vette driving weather, keep up the fun riding and think about me when yo do it.

Haven't been on in awhile but we went out on that Sunday with our friends with their 78 Pace Car and went to see a Sunday car show, walked around for an hour and then drove to a winery along the Missouri River in the German heritage area. WE had a bottle of wine, sausage, bread and cheese and then drove back home. The driving part of the trip was 130 miles with most of it on back roads with lots of hills and curves. We were out a total of 6 hours. Wish we were having more weekends like that. Right now the heat index is at 105!!
