I bought my 71 2 years ago from a guy who owned it for 25 years. That's why I bought it. It had almost no rattles and was in great shape. It just needed paint and a rebuild. Now that's done. He moved on to a 96. I told him he can't have the car back.

 

I bought my vette few months ago, 1977, the year I gradauted from high school, 31 years ago. I absolutely love the style. Iwish you the best in your retirement years.

I bought my 82 Collectors Edition in late 2001. My daughter who was 17 in 1999 when I first started looking for that particular car one day told me that she would have one before I did if I didn't stop talking about it and just go buy one. Well after a two year search I bought it. In March 2007 I bought a 2004 triple black. My daughter wants a black Vette with pink interior accents.Maybe she can buy mine when I'm ready for a newC6.Probably not however as I can't see my self ever selling either the 82 or the 04. Just have to put a second lift in my garage I suppose.. Good luck in retirement - Lot's more time to drive that beautiful car.

 

I bought my 74 when i was 16. It was in August 2005 before my senior year in high school started. I had always wanted on a vette then searching ebay i finally found her. I plan to have her forever
