Just put mine away Sat. Already miss seeing it when I go out to the garage let alone driving it. Trying to satisfy the empty feeling by making plans on some mods for the spring. My son offered to keep it for me in Arizona but I need close by to look at it occaisionally through the winter. I like to open up the bag and fire her up and sit it in while it warms up. Kind of get the feeling ya know?

Don't know how much fun your having until you put then away.

Next Spring I hope to do some upgrades on mine.
Paint, rims, rubbe, side pipes and maybe new interior.
All depends on thick my wallet is, LOL

Ya, it's that time of year alright.
Jack stands to get the weight off the rubber, antifreeze up to meet winter temps, and it doesn't hurt to get all fluids up to level. I'll change the oil and all filters too. Basicly get 'er ready for first drive in Spring. Ya gotta check on 'er often to make sure she doesn't get lonely. Pat 'er on the butt and let 'er know she's loved. And like watwheel said, start 'er up from time to time so you can both dream of the next cruise.

I store my Vet in a CarJacket, like a big thick polypro bag.
Once it's in, the bag needs to stay closed until the Spring.
Reason is you add moisture absorber in the bag and if you open the bag forget moisture control.
The Vet comes out in the Spring just the way it went in, no rust, dust or mice.
Been doing this for 4 years now, very good results. www.carjacket.com

Just started having really cold days here in flyover country. Snow can't be far behind. Just wished I had mine finished so I could put it away.

Hey Schoon
I store mine in a car bag also but I do open it up and start her up a couple times each month. My car bag came with eight of the absorbent bags so I use 4 and save the other 4 when I open it up. I then put the used ones in the oven and dry them out for use the next time I go to start her up. Works really well. never had any moisture problems and I have been doing this for about 5 years now. Kind of a pain but love to start her up and sit in her while dreaming of the Spring.

I'm at the Eastern foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and we just had up to 6' in the higher elevations. A cold front putting us into the single digits tonight and tomorrow night.

....and it's all headed your way.
