Default Together or Seperate

With a small block and turbo 400, is it easier to install the engine and tranny while they are assembled or separate? Seems like it might be easier to work the combo back into the bay all in one piece?

Right now I have the tranny out (re-built) w/ cross-member as well. Am going to go ahead and pull engine to either freshen up or put in this stroker that's on the stand.

Thanks for the help!

I've done it both ways and prefer together but you do have to have the head room and hoist that will lift the combo high enuf. An adjustable leveler is almost a must also.
