Default Undercoat Removal from Fiberglass?

Does anyone have a tip for how to remove hardened on undercoating from the fiberglass wheelwells? It comes off the metal parts pretty well with a cup brush and angle grinder but it would tear up the fiberglass if I tried it under the wheelwells. I'm worried that any remover would soak into the fiberglass and affect the finish. Any suggestions I haven't considered?

lacquer thinner, mineral spirits, kerosene, toluene. Methyl ethyl ketone, acetone. any of these may work and will not effect the fiberglass itself. as for the paint,...it would depend on what type and how long it is exposed to the solvent. Good luck

All of the above... also orange oil based cleaners and a stiff toothbrush (and lots of patience) for those worried about finishes and those with lacquer based paint.
