Update: New Interior Done
Boys, its been a while since I visited. Been in hibernation since November. Had my interior done. Compliments of a kit from Willcox. New seat covers, heat barrier, insulation, carpet and door panels professionally installed locally fora veryreasonable price. New kick panels, and rear compartment really look good too.
Went for a nice ride yesterday. What caught my attention? Thenew anti-rattle window felts that the guy put in for me.Huge difference.
Well, next month we'll be concentrating on the engine and suspension.
New tires, radio and clock are on the agenda down the road.
HopefullyI'll still be able to fill er up.

Congrats on the interior, really makes ya' feel good riding in and looking at the new surroundings. Filling the tank is gettin' to be an issue, $3.35 for reg. here in southeast Michigan.
yeah, no more odor or mildew smells. looks great too. so, got the interiorout of the way.i do have a problem similarto pg's posts-gas odor in garage. i looked , but couldn't find the vapor cannister.
Glad the interior replacement turnedout for you, must be nice to see everything new again.
The vapor cannister is on the drivers side below the windshield washer fluid bottle. Seems like some have 3 connections, mine had only 2. Also seems like different years connect differently. 73shark told me to look in the AIM so I'll suggest the same to you.
One of my headlights came up slower than the other, I put a little oil in each vacuum connection hole and "WOW" now they both come up together. PG.

Hey pg, I have some light machine oil that I use to lubricate my air tools - I'm going to use some today and do just what you did - it sounds like a great idea!
