I'm putting in a Vintage Air system (into a non-air car) and am having clearance problems with the stock am/fm radio hitting the evaporator case and not allowing the radio to install in the gauge face plate at the correct angle (the radio won't go far enough forward-needs about another inch). Anybody done this install and did you have any problems?

 

Welcome to the Corvette Forum. Have you contacted Vintage Air to see if they have any solutions? Seems like it should fit as I think Sharks all came w/ same kind of radio.
