1984 New Owner
Hello to all,
This my first vette and I love it (I think),
I say I think couse I've had it about a week and have had to change the whole AC system, Carpet, Alternator, Windshield, Wather strip and a list of small yet accumalative bolts latches and *****....
Now the fan has gone, and the head gastkets need to be replaced.....
But it sure is fast and pritty....
Any encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
also is there anything that I should know about this model in specific ?
I already learned that the targa top get major air when not bolted on
and I cant figure out how to change the rear stop light bulb... but hey what fun would this car be if I knew everything about it....

Congrats on the car. Seems like you have been rather busy with it. The more I work on my 96, the more I appreciate it. I am looking at doing the weather stripping myself. It just looks like a royal pita. I'll wait until the weather cools down.
I have no idea how to change the rear stop lightbulb. I'm sure the manual has directions (you have a shop manual?).
Good luck with the car and enjoy!
