85 corvette missing under load
Good morning everyone,
I just got this car a couple of months ago so I don't know much about it. I need to buy a book that tells me what I need to know but thought I would ask my question here before getting the book. this car misses and has slight back fire under a load. You can barely hear the pops it makes in the exhaust. It is most evident going up hills. I talked with a friend who has a lot of experience with vettes and he grounded out the two terminals you have to ground out to retrieve codes. The light flashed three times and then two times. I take it that this is a code 32. What is a code 32 and is this code related to the missing and back firing? My Chevy mechanic is going to fix this but I wanted to get input before the car goes in for repair. Thank you in advance. I'm ordering the book online today.

Code 32 = exhaust gas recirculation system. You or your mechanic need to check the vacuum source and all vacuum lines. Also, check the electrical connectors at the ECM & EGR valve.
