Good afternoon, gentlemen! The hood rear outer seal on the driver's side of my 1985 Corvette is gone. I'm really struggling to find a replacement part--and without it, I've got a LOT of rattle going on with the hood. (In addition to all the rattle from the other seals that need TLC or replacement... you know how it is.)

Anybody know where I can source this part? All I've found is used pieces on ebay, but I'd gladly pay a bit more to have something new that's really going to do the job. The rattle is just too much. I've tried ebay, online, Facebook marketplace... I'm striking out. Thought I'd see if someone here has a line on one. Thanks for your time!

Have you tried aftermarket suppliers such as Mid America Motorworks, Zip, Corvette Central, Etc?

Also C & S Corvettes in Fla. Very helpful and you get an actual person on the phone when you call. Just have as much info as possible so he can help you.

Thanks for these suggestions, 73shark! I'm so new to this Corvette world that I haven't heard of any of these outfits. I'm checking them all out now. Really appreciate the help. I'm as green as a spring meadow with all this, but.. no better way to learn than jumping in.
