I have a service engine question. I have a 34 code falt . This is a MAF problem (acording to Manual) I have replaced the sensor, and checked the wiring for a short ,but I still have the falt. Any ideas ???

 

I had the same fault a couple of years ago. Rather than replace the MAF at 375+ I spent $4.00 on a can of throttle body cleaner. I sprayed q-tips and cotton ***** for the interior wiring and sprayed directly ( with the engine running) into the throttle body. Wiped out a huge mess that I didn't know was even there. Ran fine afterwards. Although, I did need to disconnect the negative battery cable in order to get the code to reset...

 

Code 34 usually results from no power supply to MAF. You should have a 12v supply to pin A on connector from the MAF relay and a 5v reference on pin B, I think. Chances are your relay is bad or the fuse is blown. I don't have my wiring schematic here, but check your power supplys. BTW, 5v is supplied by ECM.
