Default '92 Delco Bose Radio Removal and Install

I have a 92. Anyone ever remove and reinstall the factory radio? Mine has the typical CD player problem and I started to remove it for a trip to Dr. Don's but ran into a problem with the right lower screw. In the removal instructions it says you have to push part of the vertical dash/consol to the right to access the screw and mine is very un-yielding. I'm afraid of causing irreparable damage to it if I force it over. So, I was wondering if anyone has ever done it w/o a problem? Help!

Thanks,

mark

Hi:

The following link was a big help to me when my rear amplifier in my 92 Coupe crapped out on me! They even have How to remove stereo instructions, and when you email them for tech support, they respond in a jiffy.

Hope this helps!

cvette:

72 Coupe - 4 speed
92 Coupe - Auto

PS: My CD player skips miserably so I'm gonna have to take it out. Just don't have the time to mess with it now!

Hey, thanks for the info, I used their instructions as I tried to remove the radio...I think I will give them a call.
