95 Coupe
Hey everyone,
Got a big rattle in the roof of the coupe. It can be heard if the hardtop is on or off the car. It sounds like somehting pretty heavy is loose in there. I got to admit, I'm not very handy, although I did notice some screws in the interior of the car. Has anyone else had this same problem or have any tips or suggestions for me?

Well the obvious and hopefully for you the easiest/cheapest fix would be if you didn't get your
torga top on your coupe screwed in correctly or tight enough. You don't want to overtighten but
you can install those things incorrectly. I've been advised (and found it to be correct) that you lightly
tighten the four screws first and then final tighten the back first then the front. This helps pull/align the
front ones for final tightening but don't overtighten. Good luck

I like to start all four (figure A), then lock down the front screws first, since the rears screws will still be aligned straight into the bolt hole(figure C), whereas lockin' the rears down first might make the front screws pull out of alignment (figure B).
