While inspecting my 1990 ECM for a digital dash problem I find that it has an "ADS Superchip" in it with a lable that reads: Superchip 9023-A, 1990 Corvette, 350 TPI Manual. It appears that the stock prom is pluged into the Superchip and the Super is pluged into the board. I've checked the web for info on this chip but, it seems to be too old to find anything on it. Does any one know anything about this chip like HP increase or spects?

 

The only thing I can tell you is that ADS went out of business and did not have a great reputation. I have a Hyperchip which probably isn't a lot better. I thought the Superchip plugged piggy back into the stock prom and the stock prom plugged into the ECM?
