Red face Back to the Future

Heres the story, I am 56. The last hot car I owened was a 1973 Dodge Challenger 340 4 barrel auto. I traded that in for a pickup truck in 1978,
About a mouth ago I traded a 2002 Nissan Frontier crewcab SC ( SuperCharged ) With 143000 on it. P.O.S. my feelings.
For a 1988 C4 with the 4+3 it has 140000 on it, in good shape, I just change out the oil in the overdrive, was black or very dark red, but works ok, trans oil was thin may have been synthetic, but not 80w90. changed the eng oil with shell T6, 5W40.
The car passed smog with no problem.
My problem is the idle does not come down below 1100 rpm it stays between 1100 and 1400 intell you come to a stop and then only about 75% of the time will it come down to 700. It has new or reman bosch 3 22lbs injectors and the last owner installed a new idle air valve but I do not know the tip type or if it was set up right.
As you can tell by the dates this is the future for me.
Any ideas

Question

Up date #1

I got in touch with the company that sold the injectors all thay say is thay are the right ones and I may have a vacuum leak.

Pulled the ECU , it is a rebuilt OE unit with a Delphi Chip, appears to be all stock.
Checked the min idle setting and the tamper plug is gone I will be checking everthing
From the start now.

Took a 90 mile trip on Tuesday when I got off the freeway to turn around the check eng light came on, got back and pulled a code 32. EGR valve. checked the book and it says the the first thing to check is the vacuum lines. Vacuum lines ??????
