I was wondering which headers were the best to go with my 96' Collector Edition Corvette. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

 

well first things first. i must make this clear, when you are shopping for headers make sure they are jet hot coated or they will rust out. jet coatings coat the inside and outside for maximum protection. i was told you can buy direct from them or you can buy headers from another supplier and ship them to have them coated. as for good headers i would go with these brands, KOOK'S HEADERS,..HOOKER SUPER COMP HEADERS,LEMON HEADERS.BBK HEADERS,JBA HEADERS those are all good headers to buy. and i would buy long tube headers,[sm=signs003.gif]

I have heard good things about LG longtube headers in previous posts. i don't have those on my car so I don't have hands on experience but others here seem to like them.

 

Hmm, I just looked on LG motorsports and they don't seem to have the LG longtubes for C4 vettes. I wonder why?

 

clayton i dont no i never heard of LG headers,sound like my stove,..lol my stove is a LG brand, no sh.t it realy is.no wonder that sucker gets hot.[sm=badbadbad.gif] LOL

 

I got some jet-coated hooker headers waiting to be installed in my garage right now. Just waiting on my exhaust to go with it.

 

Ck, I dont know much about them except a lot of guys on here use them and have mentioned them in posts about headers. I don't know the exact address but type in the search bar LG motorsports. They only list the ones for C5 though. Check it out if interested.

The Jet Hots I got were from either Alabama or Miss. store. Can't remember, Cause I asked them about my Super Comps for '69 Camaro, send them uncoated and he said they have a lot of the popular ones already in stock and after pricing theirs compared to buying from Jegs and shipping there and back, it was cheaper. [8D]
