Hey 93...

The work is cleanin' the rear sections in the tub (SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!). When someone sees the tub so clean, and the smell of laundry detergent, they're gonna' be suspicious.

Gettin' the rear sections out took 15 minutes. The front is gonna' take a little longer. I can see that now.

I didn't plan on it originally, unless it was crushed like your home carpet padding in the hallway. Plenty of experience with carpet installation.;)

Today we pulled the front sections. Pics to come, during the game.

Anyway, The barrier and foam sections stayed in as I pulled the carpet sections. All sections came free without rippin' factory cuts for odd stuff (seat bolts, etc). I laid 'em out to start launderin' on the concrete.

An hour later, I stuck my head in the car to assess the car-nage. The 'aroma' was gone, and there was a new smell. Couldn't place it. The only other vehicle I bought new was an '02 bowtie 1 ton. Vinyl interior. The smell in the vette was the factory new smell. I can't go for the 15 year-old vette with 10,000 miles, that still 'smells like new'[sm=bs.gif]. Until now.

So we are NOT gonna' swap the barrier material.

Loadin' pics shortly, if ya' wanna' see......................
