Default clutch

So we have another problem. My clutch is slipping like crazy. Running at about 3000 r.p.m.s in first and only doing ~15 m.p.h. It looks like a clutch replacement. After all, the car has 89,000 miles and is 15 years old. Anyone have a rough estimate on what I can expect to pay and any suggestions on good clutch manufacturer? I already lucked at luc and spec.

I wouldn't be too shocked if it was close to $1000.
