Greeting! Any suggestions for a trouble code 32, on a 1989? Mid America advertises a EGR Switch replacement kit for this code. Worth a try? Have a great Labor Day weekend.

 

Yes that will work........if you have a bad egr temp switch

 

Read this wedsite, it has everything you need to know, including a way to test the egr temp switch. When you get to test #7 on the flow chart, i would take that with a grain of salt. I tested 2 brand new egr valves and could not get any of them to hold a vaccum.
