Im getting a p1660 and a p1661 code. i do not know what to do. wife lost job so i need to try to fix it myself. its a 1996 corvette with the lt4 engine. the check engine light will not illuminate and the fans will not kick on.

 

Need more info. What temps are you running (digital). Know nothing about an LT4, but why should the ses light illuminate?

IIRC the fans come on at 228* 238*...is the temp going over those figures?
