Apparently my ECM ( motor operations computer) is dying.

Who does repairs and is reputable?

GM apparently isn't a large enough company to stock any parts for a 1993 model....

Did you do backprobes into the ECM harnesses to confirm?

There's comments on these pics in another forum, for backprobing - I'm banned, so can't link. I'll look elsewhere if you need...

Carquest has remanmed computers, be sure and swap out the PROM chip under the cover.

Welcome to the forum. Since this thread is 13 years old, I doubt you'll get any response. However a quick internet search will probably show up some aftermarket remanufacturing suppliers.
