Engine problems
I have a 95 Corvette that is giving me a fit. It started with O2 Sensors going out and then the Computer. Had all of that fixed and then one of the new sensors went bad upon changing it the engine spits and putters until you floor it then it runs good. When idling it shuts off. Tried new sensors and still the same problem. Put the old sensors in the car runs but service engine light come on. Does anyone have a clue as to were I can start looking to solve this problem?[&o]:(

RE: Engine problems
By chance have you checked the Air flow censor? If i'm not mistaken when the car is at wot it goes into closed loop on the computer, when in open loop it could throw a code on the computer.

RE: Engine problems
Without scantool readings, it's gonna be difficult to determine your problem. Several factors can contribute to the condition you are describing. Ignition timing, coolant sensor, Mass Air flow, MAP sensor, vacuum leak, injector clean, and so forth. How does the engine start and idle cold? If you have cold start idle probs, I would lean towards MAP or MAF sensors, because that's mainly what the computer looks at on cold start idle. Good Luck. [8D]
