Has anyone ever used a KBD exhaust system? 3" after the cats, looks cool, anyone heard one? I'm tempted but have heard too many "resonance horror stories" about the C4. And GF saying stuff like "Your not gonna make it as loud as the Camaro are you?" I always thought she liked the Camaro, sounds like American Lemans series you know? My neighbors love it! (I come home from work at 4am) Any thoughts will be appreciated, I was looking at the Corsa power pulse but I was up quaffing a few too many brews and found the KBD on Corvette Americas web site. I love my 95 (LT1 ZF6) but she's just too quiet with the stock system on, and me with a tax return, Hmmmm? Thanks in advance

 

Never used nor heard of KBD but if I had the $$$$$ I would go Corsa or Borla.

 

Go borla. Flowmaster is to blah! Had the 40 series. Nope. Now I changed over to true dual! [8D]

Yeah I hear them everyday. Nice and mellow on the hiway....reminds me of the old Thrush mufflers. I bought a Y pipe with a crossover tube so resonance really isn't an issue. I like the look and deep mellow sound, but if you're after the throaty/hollow sound, don't get 'em

Well you can hear it inside, but I wouldn't say it is resonance. I mean there is not an RPM range where you start to vibrate with the exhaust, the crossove tube in the rearY pipe takes care of that.....I like it and don't find it too loud inside or out...but if you open it up, they will talk.

 

Almost sounds like what I'm looking for, Hooliganism on tap when neccessary, but able to look and sound respectable also! I'll call Corvette America and see what they say. Thanks Ironhead.
