At this point when dealing with the electronics in the car it's not about mileage as much as age. They are 29 years old, and time and moisture have a way of getting in.
You may also want to check all of your vacuum lines. It could be as simple as a line rotted off causing your high idle condition. Good luck!
Welcome from California!

Well I think that I found all of the bad vacuum lines. But know when I start her she starts at about 1200 RPM's and I can't get it off of the cold start to a lower RPM. I mean 1200 is better than over 2000 like it was but I would just like to get it correct. Any thoughts?

Well it sounds like you are gaining, that good. I found some other ideas you can look at.

So,it sounds like you are making great progress! Does the '94 have a vacuum headlight system like my '73, or are they electric?
next up, check the brake booster, easy to do just pull the line off and plug it. You may also have vacuum heater controls, does your heater system operate correctly?
Keep at it, you can do this!

I'll do some more checking. The headlights are operated by electric but I'll be all of the doors in the heating/ac system are vacume. I'll check what I can get done this AM and then she is going to have to wait till I get back from my trip on the 22nd.
