Default Flip up Headlight Question

I wont be able to look at this till Tuesday, so I thought I would toss it out and maybe save some time.

My drivers side headlight wont flip up on its own. The light comes on while its down. I manually flipped the light up so I could drive home in the dark. When I got home and shut off the lights, it retracted on its own.

Right now I would say the motor is good and think its just a wire connection problem. I have had the plug apart twice since owning the car. Once to replace the gears and once to change the lights.

So my question would be, does anyone know what wire to check after I check the actual plug? Am I missing something and need to check out something else?

THANKS in advance for any help.

I would check for a relay that switches polarity to raise and lower the headlight.

THANKS. I checked the relays last night and the one was bad. Picked up a pair at Autozone ($17.99 ea) and everything is working great now.

Thanks again for your reply.
