Fox Rain Coat or Carbrella
Thinking of getting either one of these.. One is for driving the other for parking and a quick cover up top. Has anyone used these? Are they really any good? I have been caught in the rain a couple times with no overpass in sight. Usually if I drive fast enough I don't get wet.. nah kidding... I carry the top with me but, its not so easy for me to rush around and do in the rain or if I am cruising and decide to shop.. gotta put the roof back on shop and them come back and remove it again... cuz if the sun is shining I am driving topless.. thats just the way it has to be. My next one... definately a convertible.. but till then.... this is what my options are.

IT IS VERY GOOD WHEN YOU ARE IN A PINCH,LIKE A FAST RAIN SHOWER.OR IF YOU HAVE A CLEAR TINT TOP AND WANT TO KEEP THE SUN OUT WILE YOU PARK.MY FRIEN HAD ONE AND WHEN HE DROVE DOWN THE HIGHWAY IT FLEW OFF,BUT IF YOU PLAN ON PARKING AND USING IT I WOULD SAY OK,BUT THEN AGAIN IT IS VERY EASY ACCESS INTO YOUR CAR IF SOME ONE WANTS TO STEAL IT.

Thanks for the reply... did he have the Fox Rain Coat? That one says at legal highway (yeah right) speeds, it will stay. Its velcro'd on and comes with brackets to drill into the top of the windshield.. which I will NOT do and then screws down into these brackets... The Carbrella is only for parking and says uses existing mountings...

Well then I am glad I asked.. will go for the carbrella at least I can use that to cover the cockpit when parked and thats only $130.. Dont feel like watchin $300 fly off my car.. will just continue to use the roof when necessary... Thanks CK for your advice.. much appreciated...
