How long does '90 Dome Light Stay On?
Could someone please tell me how long a 1990 dome light should stay on when you open the door? Mine stays on for 7 to 9 seconds when the door is opened and then goes off. All other dome light functions work fine. The car's computer and the relay beneath the glove box have been replaced and the switches in the door frame are not hanging up. If the light is going off too soon, please tell me if you know what else might be the problem. Thank you. Al

Your car has a lighting control module that has a timer built into it to turn the lights off so if you leave your doors open it won't run the battery down.
