Default Lighting

The instrument panel lights dont come on, but the directionals and highbeam indicators stay on, anyone know why this is happening?

Does the rest of the instuments work correctly? If so I haven't a clue. If not it sounds like the plug may be on wrong.Did this start all at once? Or was it after some dash work? I know this sounds abvious but since noone else responded I thought I'd throw it out there.

The symptoms you are having, digital dash dark and turn signal and high beam lights on, are the same ones I had about a year ago. The problem was the ground on the instrument cluster. What I did was run a wire from the grounds on both the connectors to the digital dash through the firewall (in an empty spot where all the wires go through next to the brake). I ran it directly to the battery ground on the frame. I haven't had any problems since. Also, while you have the cluster out, you might use some electric contact cleaner and clean the contacts.
