Default A little Revenge

Well not usually the place for a post like this but here goes
I love my 96 LT4 Coupe however I have been just LUSTING over the C6
Well I decided to ride my bike to work today ( 194HP 2008 Hayabusa ) and minding my own biz rolling down the interstate when a C6 pulls up beside me then the two preppy guys look over at me laugh and punch it. Well being older and responsible I ignore this.
Then they slow down and motion me to run and stand on it again .. Well... I dropped 2 gears and pulled up beside them then looked over and twisted that little handle on the right and sent them back about 30 car lengths then let off and descended from "light speed"
Can you believe those guys didn't even thank me for the education :-)

It did however diminish my craving for a C6 ..I am ok with my C4 for a while longer now :-)

C4 for life no offense to the C6's but most of them seem rude However there are cool ones also. But usually they won't wave at me, no matter how far my arm is out the window. Do you have pictures of your car posted anywhere? Love to see that C4.

Yeah, I agree. There are a lot of snooty C-6 owners out there. I'd still rather have
a C-4 or C-5 anyway. They look better and there are plenty of other Chevys, Mo-Pars, and
yes....even Fords that can rip the C-6 in a drag race anyway.

Don't get me wrong, there are some good C6 owners out there, I just haven't met many. Though I don't care so much for that body style, a Vette's a Vette.
Very nice C4 502 Never seen one of that color in person, very nice. Wish I coulda had an Lt4.

Lots of fun toys you have there
Right after I bought my car(bought it cheap) I found an Lt4 vette that looks just like mine, with less miles. I could've probably turned around and sold my car to buy the other one. But by that point there was an emotional attachment, so I couldn't do it Keep the pics coming![sm=smiley20.gif]

Hey 502scs, nice lookin' ride, I have a guy in my neighborhood w/ one the same color, a couple years older though. Anyway I have a 96 LT4 Collector's Edition (already has the 5 spoke rims) but they are 9.5s in both front and back. How well do the 10.5s fit in the back? Do they stick out? I saw some 11s advertised in MidAmerica that I was considering but I am afraid they will stick out too far. The Grand Sport coupes come with the 11s in the back but they also have the add-on flares to cover them.

Anyone try putting the 11s on w/o the flares? Will they stick out too far?

Thanks to everyone for all the help along the way.

They need to go back to science class. Gee a 2 wheel motercyle just shy of 200 horsepower vs a couple thousand pound car. HMMM....I put down everything I own on the motercycle evverytime for a "street/mildy modded" corvette.Snobs. Good for you putting the losers in their place!

If it's not the track, and there's no cash on the table, save your gas.

One mistake - you, him, or some one else on the street - and life can change quick.
