RE: location of the temp sensor
[1]Engine coolant temp sensor:front of engine below throttle body. [2] outside temp. sensor :right side of engine , top right corner of radiator. [3] In car temp. sensor :coupe above left seat near courtesy light: convertible center of lid of cargo compartment.[4] Oil temp. sensor: left rear of engine, above the oil filter. How hard to replace is a matter how bad you need to replace it

RE: location of the temp sensor
thanks guys, was able to find it! The reason I am replacing is because in my last post, I talked about how my car is having a very hard start ans stalls when the car is warmed up ( 200F+ ) and after talking to some people, the major respones I got was that is may be the engine temp sensor. I am still open to any ideas that it may be. There are no codes being set ( which is why im concered that its NOT a sensor ), the injectors are a year old, no white or black smoke on startup. Thanks all!

Shotgun fixes are expensive. Could be MAF, but really need to look at datastream to determine cause, a misreporting CTS (Coolant Temp Sensor) will certainly show up under data on a scan tool.

RE: location of the temp sensor
yea, I would hate to replace it and that not be it. I wish I could get my hands on a scan tool, but I do not know anyone who has one. I grounded the dignostic ports and no codes were stored and a check engine light has never came up. I had it in the shop about 8 months ago for this very reason and they said it was a PCV valve and the IAC motor was very dirty. So they cleaned it and replaced the valve and it seems to work, but its back to the same ways!
