Default My old mufflers

Um I know this sounds stupid and I am honestly not trying to be funny. I said before I run muffler eliminators and I was out in my garage cleaning up wihtmy dad and I looked at my mufflers and "they are supposed" to be flowmaster 40 series. I never thought about it but I looked all over it and theres no engraving on it. Also theres a welded spot on the side. Is that normal on mufflers. I mean these are definatley after market mufflers. I never watched them get installed though because when I had them put on. It sounded mean as ****. Umm any input on this. And yes once I figure out about htem I WILL SELL THEM!!! I do not need them anymore and they are cluttering up our garage.

not sure if the name would be on them or not but depending on the welded spot....there should be a welded seam and perhaps some other spots showing from the baffels inside. perhaps spot welding marks. hope this helps.

Yep. Thats it. Welding seam. You can tell it was done very carefully. Looks like a machine did it. Smooth and well sealed. I guess they are flowmasters. Just trying to figure it out. I took a hammer to the side and tapped it and alot of excess carbon fell out. Strange. I will try that some more tonight.
