I was thinking about buying this one:

Sunpro CP9145 - Actron Diagnostic AutoScanners

Below is the ebay link:

http://item.express.ebay.com/_Automo...mdZExpressItem

Can I please get opinions if this will be a good choice for my '87 baby (ahem, I mean Vette)

Depends on what you what to do. Do you want to pull and view codes or do a real time scan of the engine?

I suggest using a laptop with Windows XP, a free software like TunerPro RT, and purchase a cable ($90). This will show everything you will want to see and you can even datalog.
