I am trying to find info about the 1985.

I am looking for the original tires - I see on some searches it is a Goodyear Gatorback. Is this correct information? And is this tire still manufactured?

I am also interested in the door jamb information placed in these vehicles. Mine has the tire size and pressure with the vin number (on the door - not the jamb) - but some decals have been removed. I am wondering if they are some service station decals or OEM factory decals that are missing.

I also read the exhaust is different from the 84 - being a straight pipe? Mine has mufflers with twin outlets? I dont know what straight pipe reference means...

Any help with this is appreciated.

 

Not sure on tires, but the exhaust is correct. Straight pipes mean no mufflers. 85 door decals I think are hard to find, since no one is reproducing them and Chevy has discontinued that. I am still looking for under hood decals for my 86, but to no avail. [X(]

I think the tires on the front of mine are originals...they are toast!
